Regardless of plans, she doesn't mind. Being here with him, despite the rain and the chill to kiss her skin, it's what matters in the end. She smiles, thinking how over time he's drifted into her thoughts on more than one occasion; life still remaining full of surprises.
A touch of her towel, she dabs at her cheek, aware of his staring, so she decides to break the bit of silence. ]
